SYNOPSIS
Five years ago, Wren Connolly was shot three times in the chest. After 178 minutes she came back as a Reboot: stronger, faster, able to heal, and less emotional. The longer Reboots are dead, the less human they are when they return. Wren 178 is the deadliest Reboot in the Republic of Texas. Now seventeen years old, she serves as a soldier for HARC (Human Advancement and Repopulation Corporation).
Wren’s favorite part of the job is training new Reboots, but her latest newbie is the worst she’s ever seen. As a 22, Callum Reyes is practically human. His reflexes are too slow, he’s always asking questions, and his ever-present smile is freaking her out. Yet there’s something about him she can’t ignore. When Callum refuses to follow an order, Wren is given one last chance to get him in line—or she’ll have to eliminate him. Wren has never disobeyed before and knows if she does, she’ll be eliminated, too. But she has also never felt as alive as she does around Callum.

I don't really see the point in lying

REVIEW
With eye-catchy cover, this book is looked super cool. Also there is praise from Veronica Rossi (who I adore) on the cover, so double cool for me XD
And yes, Reboot has cool idea with devastated world by a big number of death because of plague and criminality. People are revived or rebooted to be stronger and faster.
I like the world building. I thought it's thrilling and threatening which is attractive (though I don't want to live there). I like the conflict between humans and Reboots and it's understandable. If you are Reboot, you will hate with how humans act against you. But if you are human, you know Reboot is looked scary.
It's going to be exciting for people who love actions. This book has plenty of it! The actions really pumped up my excitement vigorously, Amy Tintera really brought it with a good amount and very well written!
Wren is strong and brave. Unfortunately, I didn't get connection with her, sometimes I just had no idea with her character. It was said that the bigger number you have, the more heartless you are. But I didn't think that way to Wren, she had plenty emotions, most of it had something to do with Callum (like want to kiss him). So I went with a conclusion that the number didn't define them, Wren was just not good to socialize.
Otherwise, I like Callum. He's cute and we need that figure to melt Wren's solitude. He's not super strong character, he's weak but mostly because he is too nice to hurt someone. I also like Addie which will appear in a few last chapters. I hope she has more appearance in 2nd book.
The romance is good. A little bit insta-love, but it's really cute. And the dance scene..Oh God, I was fluttering.

I like it, and look forward for the 2nd book because I still want to know more about Wren's past. For those who love actions with strong female lead like Divergent type will probably love this book :)
