SYNOPSIS

Seventeen-year-old Vane Weston has no idea how he survived the category five tornado that killed his parents. And he has no idea if the beautiful, dark-haired girl who’s swept through his dreams every night since the storm is real. But he hopes she is.

Seventeen-year-old Audra is a sylph, an air elemental. She walks on the wind, can translate its alluring songs, and can even coax it into a weapon with a simple string of commands. She’s also a guardian—Vane’s guardian—and has sworn an oath to protect Vane at all costs. Even if it means sacrificing her own life.

When a hasty mistake reveals their location to the enemy who murdered both of their families, Audra’s forced to help Vane remember who he is. He has a power to claim—the secret language of the West Wind, which only he can understand. But unlocking his heritage will also unlock the memory Audra needs him to forget. And their greatest danger is not the warriors coming to destroy them—but the forbidden romance that’s grown between them.

Come to me swiftly, carry no trace. Lift me softly, then flow and race.

REVIEW

This book didn't let me to sleep, or to take a pee. I was hungry to finish this book once I started it. Vane and Audra's relationship kept me reading Let The Sky Fall!

I actually don't really understand with the wind language things. It was confusing me, like how to mix the wind things. There were bunch of explanations on early chapters, and I'm still confused lol. In my imagination, it looks like Naruto's rasengan in bigger version.

We don't know much about other charcters other than Vane and Audra because the story is focussed on them both. They are the POVs here. I actually like Vane's POV more than Audra. Vane is funny and really sounds like young boy, while Audra is pretty serious. But I like Audra too, she's a badass girl! Sometimes she was annoying because she kept everything from Vane, but well yeah, if I were Audra, I would do the same, lol.

My most favorite part is the romance. Vane and Audra are adorable, guys! Maybe it's felt like an insta-love, but not for me. They have connection since they were kids. I really need them to be together.

It's a good book with good concept, I enjoyed it and look forward for the 2nd book!

Well, I took a pee eventually though. I also slept.

Hmmm. I've been so back and forth on this one, wavering between reading it or not. I'm just not sure it's a book for me. I do really enjoy the "friends" type of romance, and the fact that they knew each other as kids does sound tempting. Maybe I'll have to give this one a chance after all. :) Great review!
