Juliette has escaped from The Reestablishment. Now she's free from their plan to use her as a weapon, and free to love Adam. But Juliette will never be free from her lethal touch. Or from Warner, who wants Juliette more than she ever thought possible. Haunted by her past and terrified of her future, Juliette knows that she will have to make some life-changing choices. Choices that may involve choosing between her heart—and Adam's life.
Hope.
It's like a drop of honey, a field of tulips blooming in the springtime.
It's fresh rein, a whispered promise, a cloudless sky,
the perfect punctuation mark at the end of a sentence.
And it's the only thing in the world keeping me afloat.

When I read this book, I kept thinking how good it would be if the main character was Kenji. Not only that because I love him, but also I wouldn't need to read abreast of whining paragraphs like Juliette did. And as addition, Kenji is pretty humorous.
We were welcomed with Adam-Juliette's drama in the first few chapters because they have problem that could separate them. Juliette was so confusing. Adam was so annoying. Their relationship is full of lust, like if they couldn't touch each other, their world would be damned.
I wouldn't say Unravel Me is bad. No, it's not. The fact that I like it better than Shatter Me. In the prequel, I had no idea what the story was about. In second installment, the story was well-construct. I really enjoyed when Juliette put aside her romantic drama and joined a mission with Kenji. I got to know more interesting characters (sadly they were really minor characters) and thrilling actions. Some revelations pinched some great plot twist too and I really like that part!
As always, how Tahereh Mafi chose the words is interesting. It's unique. But sadly, the great prose that was represented to the book this time didn't stop me to be annoyed by Juliette's whining session. She talked to herself too much that the story wasn't rolling significantly at all.
Another think that I like is Warner. I didn't expect to be even more interested to Warner (although I still like Kenji a lot more, not gonna change), maybe because Adam was pretty much angry. Even so, I don't ship him with Juliette. I was so tired with Juliette. Warner needs to explore other available girls out there.
