They’ve been on the run, but now they’re being dragged back to St. Vladimir’s—the very place where they’re most in danger...
Rose and Lissa become enmeshed in forbidden romance, the Academy’s ruthless social scene, and unspeakable nighttime rituals. But they must be careful lest the Strigoi—the world’s fiercest and most dangerous vampires—make Lissa one of them forever.

REVIEW
I had pretty hard time to get into the story. I had no idea where the story brought me into, and Rose's PoV which was filled with secrets didn't help at all. Many characters appeared almost at the same time and I was pretty cool to let myself forgot about most of them. I was confused.
For me, Vampire Academy wasn't started very well, but ended very good. I remember I was driven into the story when Christian appeared. Not that I swooned over him, I didn't, but he seems pretty cool because I don't like the royals.
I slowly invested to the academy. All the terms like dhampir and moroi was confusing at first, but when I understood more about them, I really liked it! It's original and refreshing to vampire genre :)
I don't have particular favorite character. Lisa is confusing and I don't have interest to Dimitri or Christian. I didn't like Rose at the beginning, I totally didn't connect with her character. As the story went, she grew to me. I changed my opinion about her. I adore how she protected Lisa, how she finally became serious to learn to be a great guardian. I was turned to like her! Okay, I think Rose is my favorite character of the book.

It's enjoyable! I really like the ending and definitely will continue this series since my friends said it's getting better!
