Addison Coleman’s life is one big “What if?” As a Searcher, whenever Addie is faced with a choice, she can look into the future and see both outcomes. It’s the ultimate insurance plan against disaster. Or so she thought. When Addie’s parents ambush her with the news of their divorce, she has to pick who she wants to live with—her father, who is leaving the paranormal compound to live among the “Norms,” or her mother, who is staying in the life Addie has always known. Addie loves her life just as it is, so her answer should be easy. One Search six weeks into the future proves it’s not.
In one potential future, Addie is adjusting to life outside the Compound as the new girl in a Norm high school where she meets Trevor, a cute, sensitive artist who understands her. In the other path, Addie is being pursued by the hottest guy in school—but she never wanted to be a quarterback’s girlfriend. When Addie’s father is asked to consult on a murder in the Compound, she’s unwittingly drawn into a dangerous game that threatens everything she holds dear. With love and loss in both lives, it all comes down to which reality she’s willing to live through . . . and who she can’t live without.
One little choice can make all the differences.

It'll be heard a little bit confused, but believe me you won't when you start reading it. Pivot Point is very well written :)
The story is very interesting and unique. Addie has an ability to Search her future in 2 options she has to choose. In this case, her parents are going to divorce. Her mother will stay on Compound with all people with gifts but his father will stay in outside to start a life with Norm people. With her ability, Addie finds out what will happen to her if she chooses her mom or dad.
If she stays in Compound, she'll continue her life as Paranormal people, with her best friend Laila, and have a popular guy, Duke, who's attracted to her. Otherwise if she chooses his father with Norm life, she'll start new life in school and meet a sweet guy, Trevor, who she thinks is perfect for best friend material. Every chapter will alternately tell the story of Compund and Norm life and each chapter is a short one so you won't get boring in one condition :)
I found it very original and addicting to know what would happen in each way. It made me curious because both ways brough the same event with different perspectives. Like there's a suspense case about a killer in Compound who threaten Laila, and we will see how Addie handles this case if she's on Compund or Norm. While read this book, I kept struggling to know what would Addie choose in the end (۳˚Д˚)۳
The characters are attractive. Addie is average girl and doesn't like to show off. She loves to sink into books, even graphic novels XD Laila, her best friend, is very lovable. She is outspoken and strong. She has the ability to erase memory. I love how people in Compound has supernatural abilities, like Addie's mother has Persuade ability, there are also Healer, Mood Manipulator, etc.
Trevor is a Norm guy who is very sweet and nice. Swoonworthy. He was a football player, but he is injured.
And there is Rowan! Well, he is a minor character but I like him. He's vibrant and funny XD
