REVIEW
It was simply touching to read about August Pullman who just started his day in school. He was homeschooled before, until he was in 5th grade and his parents encouraged him to go to school. Starting a school day wasn't easy, especially for Auggie who was born with mandibulofacial dystosis (was it right?).
All the characters here were really realistic. How they thought, how they acted, they were funny and annoying. It was just someone who could be found in our life. Everytime the POV was changed, I was amazed. I adore RJ Palacio for this. We always thought about ourselves, but this book showed us many perspectives. There were Auggie's POV ofcourse, and his sister Olivia, his friends, or Olivia's friends. I just, I should be more empathetic in my life ;__;
My favorite part is Jack Will. I almost cried in most of his POV. It was just fit me the most. I thought about a friend who I am pretty sure he has forgotten about me, but I never forget him. I'm a girl who usually easy to forget others' faces or names, but I don't forget about this one friend. And Wonder made the memory was back more clearly, especially because of Jack's part. It was several years ago, maybe 8 or 9 years, there was a friend of mine who sometimes being mock by others for the sake of jokes. They could think it was joke but for the victim, it was hurt. Even it wasn't a physical bullying, but words usually speared straight to your heart. One day, when he got mock, I was sitting beside him. There were some words on the edge of my mouth for the others which just needed to be plunged out to defend this one friend. But I didn't do it. I protected myself from a few teases. I regret it till now. Although I tried to help him in some school subjects after that, I still regret it. And that story was all over my mind when I read Wonder.
Wonder is a book that will make us rethink about a lot of things. Sometimes what we see or what we think isn't what really happens. This is what Wonder shows us. That we live with a bunch of wondering, but if we try to make a move, stand for our friends and family, we could see the little wonder in our lives :)

It is a heartwarming book which gives us some tears of joy. More people should read this book. Although Wonder is a middlegrade book, it's worth it for any age :)
If we can love, why should hate others?
Anyway I change my rate style with these ducks, cute right? That's why, do not eat duck!
